Problem

Terrorist activities have resulted in heightened awareness of the vulnerability of U.S. workplaces, schools, and other occupied buildings to chemical, biological and radiological (CBR) threats. Of particular concern are a building’s heating, ventilating, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems, as they can become entry points and distribution systems for many hazardous contaminants, including infectious agents such as Anthrax.

Solution

The StrionAir System's >95% filtration efficiency against submicron particles, combined with its active germicidal effect, provide the ability to capture and kill submicron pathogens including bacteria, viruses and spores. Independent laboratory testing has demonstrated its ability to kill more than 99% of the milled, weapons-grade Anthrax surrogate Bacillus atrophaeus that it removes from the air.

The StrionAir System delivers building-occupant protection superior to HEPA and ultra violet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) alternatives, providing:
